I would like to check what the color scheme is and what the resolution of the pictures is in the files that I generate so that I have the right information when discussing with the printing house. Is there a way to analyse the PDF file for that?

We do not have a tool for such purpose.
Maybe this tool helps: https://tools.pdf24.org/en/extract-images
There you can extract images embedded in PDF files and then you can open the images in an editor to see image information. Windows explorer also gives you size information in the properties dialog.
