Hi,
For some reason when I'm trying to create a PDF using any office document I get the "Could not determine PDF Printer!" error message.
What I'm doing is right clicking on the document and selecting PDF24 from the context menu then selecting convert to PDF in the creator window that appears. Then this message appears. The same method works fine for pictures JPEG, PNG, TIFFs but does this on any office document.
What I've done to try and fix it:
Uninstalled PDF24 v9.0 (MSI version)
Reinstalled PDF24 v9.0 (MSI version)
Uninstalled PDF24 v9.0 (MSI version)
Reinstalled PDF24 v9.0 (EXE Version)
Set PDF24 as the default printer using Control panel
No idea whats going on. Any ideas with this? I'm at my wits end and I'm trying to recommend this to our staff as a replacement for Adobe Acrobat DC but this is bound to throw them for a loop if I cant fix it. We're on Windows 10 1903 Enterprise edition x64.
Any help anyone could give would be appreciated, ideally a fix that I can push out to multiple machines without needing manual intervention.
Kind Regards
Chris Jones
Can you please test whether the conversion with the Creator works? Open the Creator via the Launcher and then drop your file into the right windows pane. This converts your file too. What happens here?
Does your PDF printer work? Please print the file on the PDF printer. Does this open a PDF24 Windows where you can handle the printed PDF?
