Hi, first of all I want to compliment the whole staff for this great free PDFsuite. It's not common to see such a complete, well designed, graphically amazing and, most of all, free software. I'm testing it because I was looking for some software to give to my users to handle PDFs. Primarily to reduce PDFs size. I'm testing it beside another simple software "Free PDF Compressor" http://www.freepdfcompressor.com/. I'm using same output settings (150dpi, RGB, medium jpeg quality). Output file size it's quite the same after processing. The fact is that the latter produces sharper PDFs compared to PDF24 Creator. Why? Is there something I can do to get the same quality? You can see below the difference, on the left PDF24 result, on the right PDF Compressor:
The only difference I can see it's the Ghostscript library version used: yours is more recent. I also tried to use jpeg quality at 100 but it doesn't improve.
Hope you can help or improve the compressor in a future release.
