It's my first message on this forum ^_^
First, I would like to thank a lot for the pdf24 program : it's really a great program !!! 🙂
I use the latest PDF24 Creator v11.15.2 v2023-12-08 x64 on a Windows 10.
I wanted to reply to the following tread :

I submited my text, by it didn't worked : is it closed ?Concerning this old thread, I have the same problem :
When I extract a single page from a multi-pages pdf, the size of the extracted page is pretty much the same as the complete pdf.Example :
-20 pages pdf : 6.67 Mo (a newspaper with images on nearly every page)
-1 page extracted (page n°8) with Toolbox/"Extract PDF pages" : 6.59 MoThe fallback tools are :
-Toolbox/"Split PDF" : I click on the scissors just before and just after the page I want and the result pdf has a size of 151 Ko only.
-"PDF Creator" module : using the menu Tools/"Extract pages of a pdf file" : the resulting pdf is 158 Ko.Is the problem with Toolbox/"Extract PDF pages" a known one ?
The 20 pages pdf I've used as a test is here :

Hello,
thank you for the detailed description. The cause was that objects of the pages that were not extracted stayed in the new file. This was fixed in version 11.18.0: Extract PDF pages and Remove PDF pages now remove these leftovers, so the result only contains what the extracted pages need. Please update PDF24 Creator to the current version.

If an extracted page is still almost as large as the whole PDF with the current version, please send us that file so that we can reproduce this, with this button:
