I’m experiencing a performance issue with the PDF24 printer in AutoCAD on my new computer.
PDF24 works normally and quickly when printing from other programs, but in AutoCAD it is extremely slow. Even selecting the PDF24 printer takes a long time to load. This makes it almost unusable, especially when I need to print multiple PDFs.
Other printers and PDF drivers work normally in AutoCAD, so the issue seems to be specific to the combination of AutoCAD and PDF24.
I’ve found posts from other users experiencing similar problems, but I haven’t been able to find a working solution.
I’m currently using AutoCAD 2027 and PDF24 Creator 11.30.1.
Has anyone experienced the same issue and found a solution? Is there anything I can change in PDF24, Windows, or AutoCAD to fix this?
