I tried to load a very large PDF file - 650MB - hoping to use PDF24 to break it into more manageable portions. When trying to load the file (on a Win 7 system) in PDF24, the program hung and I received the standard Windows error message. When trying a smaller but still large PDF file - 445MB - the program loaded it and allowed me to save specific selected portions.
Is there a maximum file size limit? If not, is there a way PDF24 might be made to load the larger file?
Thanks for any advice.
StanHmm normally not, but it can be that the application consumes to much memory for that large file.
What you can try is the following:
print the large PDF file on the PDF printer first to create a new PDF file with the hope that the newly created PDF file works.
This is often a trick to get some files to work if you get errors.
