Perhaps one further detail to mention is that I am not applying any password to the file that I'm trying to protect.
I also noticed some further differences:
- Online PDF24 Toolbox: generates AES-128 encrypted file with all restrictions set correctly (but no option to configure encryption type, nor a permission password field is present)
- Offline PDF24 Toolbox: generates AES-256 encrypted file but accessibility copying for flag is not disabled (no option to configure encryption type is present but fields for both open and permission password are present)
- Offline PDF24 File Tools: no checkbox to configure accessibility copying flag present
- When using AES-256 or AES-128, the result is effectively the same as for offline PDF24 Toolbox
- When using RC4-128, the accessibility copying shown in Acrobat Reader is allowed under the 'Document Restriction Summary' section of 'Document Properties', but in the dialog 'Document Security' ('Document Properties'>'Security'>'Show Details..."), 'Content Accessibility Enabled' is not allowed (this seems inconsistent, not sure if this is a bug in Acrobat Reader?)

Hopefully you can see the screenshot here: pasteboard dot co slash hdszhRBPJayT.png
