PDF24 Creator 9.2.0 is available for download. Please install and check if the problem is solved.
My question is the following: What specific key causes this issue? You deleted all, but there must be one specific. Could you try to figure that out? That would mean not to delete the whole node but rather one after another until the problem is solved. The would help me to fix this issue.
Version Version 9.0.3 did a roll-back to an older Ghostscript version. This could be the cause and we can investigate here.
What happens, when you drag a page? Do you see the insert position visualization?
Hmm weird thing, just tested the MSI again within my VM and everything works fine here. Anything else I can do to reproduce the issue?
Open the Console in the GUI via F12 and then try to save the file. The console shows some outputs and this could help to find the problem.
The PDF24 Creator processes on your computer. Can you send me the PDF to forum@pdf24.org so that I can try to reproduce the problem?
MAPI or outlook OLE should work here. Many users do this and for most of them it works well.
The fix comes in the next week. Version 9.0.5 targets this ad brings an improvement.
Can you explain a bit further? What do you do exactly? At the moment I can't imagine what you mean.

I think you are in the Creator? There you can not skip the profile selection step, because the user has the tell the software how to save the file. Within the PDF printer assistant it's a bit different because there is a profile selection box at the top and here no special profile selection popup is required.
This issue is still open on our side, but we do not know, why that happens. This is really weird because we do not change this actively, only temporarily if this is required to convert files to PDF with the PDF printer. There are some discussions here in the forum, especially in the German version, but this problem is not solved, because it seems, that this problem is not on our site. Some admins reported, that Windows itself is doing some weird things under special conditions and changes the printer. If anybody of you can send me a reproducible instruction so that I can reproduce the change on my site, then I can investigate further. Hope you can?
Hi, can you tell me a bit more about that? Which service do you use? Where do you get the message?
I did a little research on the 100 files problem and it seems that Windows has built in this limit. The work around via the folder context is this solution here.
The issue with the long path names will be analysed to.
An improvement for the Creator is implemented so that the Creator can handle a hundreds of files again. The new version with the fix will be releases this week.

Try to open the console via F12. Then do what produces the issue. The console should then show some more information that could help to analyse the issue. The outputs can be send to forum@pdf24.org for further analysis.
An alternative to use the Creator to merge all your files is to use the File Tools app. This app can handle far more files then the creator and is faster to load the files into the list because this app doesn't ave to to so much things under the hood.
- You can open the App via the Launcher (Desktop Icon) or right-click the folder, that contains all your files you want to merge and click PDF24 in the context menu.
- Then click the soft icon to bring your files into the right order.
- Then click the Merge Icon to combine all your files.

The
applyProfileis an own command for the docTool and can not be combined with thejoincommand. To set a profile for thejoincommand you have to use the-profileswitch on the command line. The join command uses this argument to set the profile.This should normally be the case. If the Language option in the registry is not available, then pdf24 determines the language based on the OS language. If no matching element can be found, then English is used as fall-back.
Ensure, that you do not have set a language within the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\PDFPrintpath of the registry. If there is an option, than this option is used if there is no language option in the users section below HKCU.Hi, your command line is wrong. The -applyProfile and -convertTo can not be used together. Here is the command line ylu should use:

Reason why formats A0 and A1 are not displayed
Please check if other PDF printers are or were installed. We have received a message that e.g. the installation of FreePDF affects the formats A0 and A1. In the PDF24 printer the formats A0 and A1 are also defined and should be available. If you install PDF24 on a system which did not have FreePDF installed before, then the formats should also be available. Please check if other PDF printers were installed before. This could be the reason why the formats are not available.Hard to say, did you recognize the space, thats wrong here? % UserName% should be %USERNAME%
The Auto Save configuration gives you the %XX% placeholders that you can use for that purpose. To get the user name, use %USERNAME%. This will be replaced with the name of the users that printed. Use this in the output folder text field.
You could definitively use the applyProfile for that. Create a new profile for JPG with the settings you want. Then use the pdf24-doctool.exe on the command line and use the applyProfile there. ALso use the outputfile argument to write the result to disk. This should work.
Call the doctool without arguments to get the command line info window. There you can find all arguments you need.
