Can you make an existing PDF smaller so that it is more easily transmitted as an email attachment?

I scanned a 50+ page document and converted it to PDF using my HP scanner. It is over 30 megs--way bigger than I can send as an email attachment. Can you help me make the file smaller, please?

The pdf24 PDF Creator creates PDF in best quality it can. In a future version we will offer an option to set the quality of the created pdf.

The PDF24 Creator contains a component which can compress PDF files. You need at least version 2.5. When creating a PDF choose a low quality profile. This will reduce the file size of the pdf.

Quality profile can be changed in PDF creation assistent when printing something on pdf24 or in context menu of a PDF in editing mode. (Context menu can be opened with a right click on a name of loaded PDF in PDF24 Creator)

The new PDF24 Creator installs you a new PDF compression tool named PDF24 Compress. You can use that tool to compress PDF files.

Open that tool, add your PDF files, adjust the settings and calculate the resulting file size. Save the compressed file if the size is acceptable.
