    We want to use PDF24 on our new XenApp 6 servers. During the installation, i had no error/problems.

    Only when users login, they receive an error message "PDF24 Creator stopped working", after pressing OK, they get "The application was unable to start correctly (0x00000005)"

    What is started when a user logs in? What goes wrong?

    Hi,

    0x00000005 seems to be the error: ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED
    When a user logs in the background process pdf24.exe is started. This small process is needed for each user so that users can print on PDF24 printer. The process receives a printjob, manages the redirection of the printjob und opens the right application in user space.

    Is there a limitation in opening some system pipes or any other restrictions?

    If i adjust the rights on the program folder with full access for the user, i still get the error. If i move the PDF24 program folder to the home folder and adjust the registry settings to this folder, it is working.

    I have a policy in XenApp to Hide the drives of the XenApp server. Could this be the problem?

    The user only must have read access to the program folder. Nothing is written into this folder. If the user have no read access or if the user don't see the program folder it might not work.
    I think it's some kind of permission problem.
