Why, if PDF24 is set to autostart with computer startup, do I still have to start it manually after every reboot the first time I want to print something?
I am running the latest version of Windows 10. PDF24 Creator is set to autostart on computer startup. The exe file is in C://ProgramData/MIcrosoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/PDF24 and the tray icon and menu are present. However, the first time I try to print after a reboot, I get an PDF Printer Error message (with error 0X***705) and a popup window appears telling me that PDF Creator is not started. When I start PDF24 by clicking the start button in the popup window, a Windows command window appears, PDF24 is started, and the PDF Assistant loads. Everything then works normally until the next reboot. I never had this problem until I updated to the 2017 Fall Creators Update of Win 10. Is there a way to ensure that the program fully auto starts?
in case of this error: unfortunately our users can not start the service via the pdf24-assistant for themselves, the option is active but does not work (they are normal users without any admin rights)
