I've installed the latest Version of PDF24 Creator (8.4.2, Business-Edition) on a Terminalserver running Windows Server 2008 R2.
The Windows-Server has been running all the time in German language and I don't like to change this. But I'd like to change the programm-language of PDF24 Creator to English. If I do this in "Settings" it doesn't take any effect. Even not after restarting the programm or the whole Server. Trying to change the Language to others (like French) does not take any effect too 🙁
How can I change the global programm-language, so that it will take an effect for all users? Anyone an idea? Thanks in advance!!!
Languages can be set for all users and for a specific one. Configs are located in the Winodws registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PDFPrint and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\PDFPrint. The settings UI can modify both. There is a selection box at the bottom where you can switch between "All users" and "Current user". To force a language for all users, add the following value to the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\PDFPrint
!Language=English
The ! at the beginning makes this setting important and then this setting can not be overridden by users.
