I am trying to print PDF from old program and it prints PDFs very good (i like it better than MS Print to PDF), except that it can't do diacritic marks properly (maybe can't download used font). Font used in document is "Arial CE". I've tried to change manually font setup in PDF24 advanced printing properties and it doesn't change anything.

Choosing "Download Fonts" in program itslef PostScript options prints something like this to PDF page:

    ERROR: undefined OFFENDING COMMAND: eexec STACK: /G /G /G /G /G /G /G /G /G /G /G -dictionary- /CharStrings —dictionary- —dictionary- /Private —dictionary- —dictionary-

    Investigated a little bit more...

PDF24 Printer is using fonts like this in printed PDF:

    Arial TrueType, Embedded, Subset, ToUnicode
    Calibri TrueType, Embedded, Subset, ToUnicode
    Arial-CE, Type1, Embedded, Subset
    Renfrew, TrueType, Embedded, Subset, ToUnicode
    Times-New-Roman-CE, Type1, Embedded, Subset

MS Print to PDF is switching all fonts to "Type0, ToUnicode".

So, PDF24 print non searchable PDF with embedded fonts only? I've tried 3 other programs and can't print searchable PDFs at all.

Sorry about that, false statement, Windows was want a restart...

Everything is beautly searchable, so we have just the case of this wrong font.

I fixed it by embedding the font directly into the PDF using Adobe Acrobat. If that’s not an option, try a different PDF printer driver or look for updates to your program.
