Will more features such as highlighting will be added to the Annotate tool? It would be nice if you could highlight the text only in the annotate toolbox while you draw since adobe and edge allows you to highlight text only in the pdf.

sorry for the late reply. The online tool Annotate PDF now has text markup tools: Highlight, Underline, Strikethrough and Squiggly underline. With Highlight only the text itself is marked, like in Adobe Reader or Edge: https://tools.pdf24.org/en/annotate-pdf
On the desktop, PDF24 Reader can do this as well: select the text and choose Highlight in the small toolbar that appears after the selection.
The Annotate PDF tool of the PDF24 Toolbox does not have text highlighting yet. Thank you for the suggestion, we will add it to our list.
