I searched your site to see if there are any api, I came across the following link https://help.pdf24.org/en/pdf24-pdf-api-written-in-javascript/ with such api is it possible to web-side convert an odt/doc file to pdf? thank you

Hello,

the article you found is a news post from 2010. That API was meant for creating PDF files from articles on websites (title, text, author), it could not convert DOC or ODT files, and it is no longer available.

You can convert DOC and ODT files to PDF online in the browser:
- https://tools.pdf24.org/en/word-to-pdf
- https://tools.pdf24.org/en/odt-to-pdf
On Windows, PDF24 Creator can also convert files to PDF from the command line: https://creator.pdf24.org/manual/11/#11110-convert-to-pdf
