Hi,
(using PDF Creator v11.17.0 under Windows 11)
For whatever reason, (traditional) Chinese characters refuse to appear after the Edit PDF tool re-saves the PDF file with either fields with mixed English / Chinese characters, or fields with only Chinese characters. It's as if the characters were deleted. Even the character (white) spaces are gone.
(For example, if I have Chinese characters inside parentheses, after saving the PDF, then only the parentheses will show like - (), rather than (繁體中文字) (in the new PDF document).
Thank you for looking into this. Please let me know if you require any further information.

sorry for the late reply. The tool "Edit PDF" of the PDF24 Toolbox saves text with the font selected in the font list (default: Calibri). While you type, Windows displays the Chinese characters with a substitute font, but Calibri itself contains no Chinese characters, so they are missing in the saved PDF.
If a font with Traditional Chinese characters in TTF format is installed on your PC, please select it in the font list before you type the text. The Chinese fonts that usually come with Windows (e.g. Microsoft JhengHei) are TTC files and are not offered in the font list yet.
Thank you for reporting this, we will add it to our list: characters that the selected font does not contain should come from a suitable system font.

That characters missing in the selected font should come from a suitable system font is on our to-do list.
