Toolbox: hide all tools except Protect PDF and Unlock PDF

I would like to hide all Toolbox icons except Protect PDF and Unlock PDF. I cannot find keywords to hide these two buttons.

Also, for bonus points - is it possible to put Protect PDF and Unlock PDF as buttons in the Launcher.

sorry for the late reply. In the current version you can do this in the settings:

1. Update PDF24 Creator to the current version: https://tools.pdf24.org/en/creator
2. Open the PDF24 Settings and go to the page "Toolbox".
3. In the list "Hide the following UI elements:" select all entries except protectPdfTool and unlockPdfTool and save.

For a deployment, the same is the registry value toolbox.hideElements (string, under HKLM\SOFTWARE\PDF24 or HKCU\SOFTWARE\PDF24), see the manual: https://creator.pdf24.org/manual/11/#48-registry-settings-related-to-pdf24-toolbox

To hide everything except Protect PDF and Unlock PDF, use this value:

The list in the manual is not complete yet, some newer tools are missing there. IDs that your version does not know are simply ignored.

Protect PDF and Unlock PDF cannot be added to the Launcher; there you can only hide the existing entries. Thank you for the suggestion, we will add it to our list. As an alternative, the Toolbox can be opened directly in a tool from the command line, e.g. with a desktop shortcut to pdf24-Toolbox.exe -verb protect or pdf24-Toolbox.exe -verb unlock (the file is in the PDF24 installation folder), see https://creator.pdf24.org/manual/11/#911-open-the-ui
