Maintain transparent background when converting PNG to PDF

When I use the "images to pdf" tool with a set of PNG images with transparent backgrounds, the output PDF has a white background instead.

Is it possible to maintain the transparent background in the pdf output?

Hi, I would say that PDF Readers always use a white background when drawing pages or page contents. Otherwise, transparent PNGs are supported by PDF24.

Thanks for your answer. It prompted me to experiement a bit more. I won't go into the details of why I thought the resulting pages were not transparent (basically my failure to understand how Affinity Publisher master pages work), but you are absolutely correct, the transparency was maintained in the PDF24 output file.  Thanks again!
