PDF24 will not start automatically when windows 10 starts
PDF24 will not start automatically when I reboot my Windows 10 computer. Cannot find a setting in PDF24 to get the program to start automatically. Services.msc in Windows 10 indicates the program should start automatically, but PDF24 does not. This appears to be a bug within PDF24 version 8.2.3.
Exactly the same at our site. More than 80 machines running perfect (mixed W7, W10). Only one Laptop offsite has once or twice a week the problem that the PDF24 service doesn't start automatically. Fix with delayed autostart does NOT work. Onboard Windows repair mechanism for restart of stopped service does not help.
Manually starting the service does the App work again.
All use the same msi-package 8.4
I am experiencing exactly the same problem on one Win10 computer (I have it on about 250 PCs with Win7/Win10 and they all work fine). Noway to understand what is going wrong. As a workaround, changing the PDF24 service to "Automatic Delayed" appears to fix the problem, but it is only a workaround.
