Edit PDF & foreign (Chinese Traditional) characters being invisible

Hi,

(using PDF Creator v11.17.0 under Windows 11)

For whatever reason, (traditional) Chinese characters refuse to appear after the Edit PDF tool re-saves the PDF file with either fields with mixed English / Chinese characters, or fields with only Chinese characters.  It's as if the characters were deleted.  Even the character (white) spaces are gone.

(For example, if I have Chinese characters inside parentheses, after saving the PDF, then only the parentheses will show like - (), rather than (繁體中文字) (in the new PDF document).
