Setting exclusions for Toolbox and Launcher

Before a recent update, when I wanted to set any exclusions for the Launcher or Toolbox tools, I was able to copy and paste the tools that I wanted hidden into the text box in the settings. This was nice because it was efficient, but the downside was that it was hard to make minor changes.

Now, the exclusion box is different so that each tool needs to be checked in a drop-down menu one at a time. This is good for making the minor changes that I was missing before, but now when I need to exclude many tools at once, it becomes rather tedious to select each individual tool.

Is there a way to use both ways?
