Create PDF with headed Paper

Hi All,

I've come across this free PDF24 tool which is great.

I am trying to customise my installation slightly as I want to include my headed paper when I print from a database application.

Being a database application there is no means of creating templates.

So my idea is this, I create a PDF of my headed paper, generate my data from the database and use the scripting element to merge the two files together. Hey presto I have my data complete with headed paper in a single PDF file.

Has anyone achieved this, I am looking for some advice on the scripting side....

Hi,

use the digital paper feature of the application. Create a paper file and use that as paper to combine that with your printout. Use the Save as dialog to add the paper file, make a profile if you do not want to configure all again and then save.

This is exactly what I had in mind, thanks.

My next issue is the margins within the database simply scale to printable area and this cannot be altered, is there a way to customise paper sizes to specify margins in effect printable area, as I am getting data all over the header information. The overall paper size must be A4.
