Hi, does anyone know how to fix this issue?
My colleague is using the same version as I am, but I am the only one experiencing the issue.
I tried reinstalling the application and installing the latest version, but the issue remains.
The file is on the shared drive; if I move it to my local drive, there is no issue. Before this, I had no issues at all.
Can anyone help me with this?

Only two of us are encountering this error when we try to write a file using PDF24. The other colleagues have no issues.

2024-10-08 at 14:10 #64580Stefan ZieglerKeymasterHmm, can you find out what the difference is?
2024-10-09 at 03:54 #64581snoc01ParticipantI'm not sure how you mean to find what the difference is between my colleagues and I.
Already tried to uninstall and install back still cannot, already tried clearing browser cache before downloading the setup file incase it's corrupted still no improvements.
Saving the file in local is possible and can rewrite but when it comes to my share folder cannot save or rewrite. Articles has no solutions but still finding a way to solve this.

error 32 comes from Windows and means that another process has the target file open, so PDF24 cannot overwrite it. PDF24 itself only tries to write the file. So the difference is something on your two PCs, or the file on the share, that keeps the file open. Please check:
- Is the file you overwrite still open somewhere, for example in a PDF viewer, in the preview pane of File Explorer, or by a colleague on the share? Close it and click "Retry" in the message.
- Save under a new file name in the same shared folder. If that works, the existing file is locked. If it fails too, the problem is the folder or the connection to the share.
- Compare the two affected PCs with the others: sync programs (e.g. OneDrive), backup software or a virus scanner that checks files on the network drive can keep a newly written file open for a moment.
- Your IT can see on the file server which user or PC has the file open at the time of the error.
