OCR with two languages (English and Sanskrit), also on the command line

I am using the pdf24 ocr application to ocr a pdf image file with Sanskrit and English characters.

The problem

I can only ocr one language and not both the languages - the app screen does not provide for it?

Can I use the C promt? What is the language code for english and sanskrit? can you share the command?

If you have a current version, then you can choose more than one langage.

you can do this with our online OCR tool: https://tools.pdf24.org/en/ocr-pdf

1. Upload the scanned PDF.
2. In the Language field, select both English and Sanskrit. Several languages can be selected at the same time.
3. Start the recognition and download the PDF with the recognised text.

How well the Sanskrit text is recognised depends a lot on the quality of the scan, so a clean scan with at least 300 DPI helps.

as of today, both ways work:

• In the PDF24 OCR app, the Language field accepts several languages: open the list and select both English and Sanskrit.
• On the command line, combine the language codes with +. The codes are eng for English and san for Sanskrit, for example:

"C:\Program Files\PDF24\pdf24-Ocr.exe" -outputFile "C:\Scans\result.pdf" -language eng+san "C:\Scans\scan.pdf"
