Recently, I unfortunately had to reinstall W11 on my laptop. And I went through the lengthy process of reinstalling back all my previously installed programs, PDF24Creator being one of them. But for some reason, on this new W11 installation, when I set PDF24Creator as my main PDF reader, all PDF icons turned blank.
Weirdly enough, if I chose a browser as the main PDF reader, all the PDF icons correctly show the browser PDF icon.
Attached to media is a screenshot comparison; one when PDF24Creator is the main PDF reader, another is when a browser is the main PDF reader.

sorry for the late reply. Since version 11.19.0, File Explorer shows a preview of the first page instead of the PDF icon when PDF24 is the default app for PDF files. In the MSI package a registry entry needed for these previews was missing until version 11.20.0. Please update PDF24 to the current version first: https://tools.pdf24.org/en/creator
If the icons are still blank after that, please send us a screenshot of the Explorer window and tell us whether you installed PDF24 with the EXE or the MSI setup. So that we can reproduce this, please send us the screenshot with this button:
