    Hi Gentlemen,
    I have just installed PDF24 3.1 update from 2.9.1.
    on MS-Windows XP-SP3 client
Everything works fine for generic unprotected .pdf files
But when I take a protected document drag and drop it into the pages pane on the right, I get an error msg saying Reason: PDF is encrypted
when I do the same thing with version 2.9.1 it works fine.
There is a work arround, which is to Extract the pages, save them on disk and use the saved version to do your job.

Can you please review the drag and drop functions on versione 3.1.0!?!?

Thanks for co-operation and best regards

Encrypted PDF files are not supported. A bug in previous versions had disabled a security check so that encrypted PDF could be loaded by the editor but in most case there will be some internal problem so that we decided to disable that feature.

What you can do is the following: Print the PDF file on PDF24 printer. THis creates a new PDF files which is not encrypted. Then extract your pages.
