PDF24 Creator opens and closes immediately when printing from banking apps

PDF24 Creator opens and closes quickly keeping the system tray icon up and running when printing from banking applications.

When the computer is restarted the problem is resolved.

When a new printout is made through banking applications, the same problem occurs again.

As a workaround, when PDF24 Creator is opened before printing, the job enters the PDF24 Creator production queue and it is possible to manipulate and generate the PDF file without having to restart the machine.

The PDF24 version was successfully updated to the latest available version 11.17.0 but the problem still persists.

Could anyone please help us with this unusual behavior of PDF24?

we do not know this behaviour from other reports, so we need a few details. Please first update to the current version and check whether it still happens: https://tools.pdf24.org/en/creator

If it still happens, please tell us here:

• your PDF24 version and Windows version,
• which banking application you print from,
• whether printing from another program (e.g. Notepad) works right after a failed print from the banking application,
• whether pdf24-Creator.exe is still running in the Task Manager after the window has closed.
