    Hi,

being fed-up with Windows lately, I am trying to migrate to Linux. One of the tools I am missing is PDF24. There is no native application, and so far running it in Wine also does not work, there are some issues with webview, the .cpp crashes even though in theory the webview2 dependency is installed...

    But back on track:
There is basically no other free alternative that would be as easy to install and use as PDF24 ...

Now when the Linux userbase is growing due to various Microslop steps, could you consider putting an effort towards a Linux application (if not native packages like deb/rpm, at least containerised flatpak - that should also solve issues with dependencies and stuff), or at least if you could invest the time into figuring out the Wine approach and sharing the installation guide?

    Thanks!

Try to install he 9.x version under WINE. I have heard that this works for some users. 11.x version uses Webview2 and this seems to be problematic under WINE.

Hi, I second the original posters sentiment. Windows 11 is so bad and it doesn't seem like like that will improve anytime soon, on the contrary, they seem to be doubling on the AI slop. I have switched all my machines to linux and even switched my parents machines (on their own request after they tried it on my PC). PDF24 is one of the very few apps I'm actually missing.
