Problems saving PDF, security won't apply, font won't show

Hi,

I have installed this on a number of pc's I support. When trying to use the save as option when selecting to print, i select to encrypt with a password and password protect the pdf. It appears to convert fine but when opening the pdf, it displays a message saying that the Font 'F0' could not be found and displays a white page with black dots on it. This happens to any document that is attempted. Also, the securty settings, password etc don't apply.

When just using the save option, as opposed to 'save as', it works fine but we need to use the security option.

We are using adobe acrobat version 10 to open them and v3 of PDF24.

Any help that can be offered would be greatly appreciated.

Which software you use to print to PDF or which files you convert to PDF?
e.g. Word files. Please also tell me the version of your software.

We noticed that Word 2003 can produce errors and Word 2010 works fine. Can you submit me your file which causes the problem? This helps me to find a solution. You can send files to forum@pdf24.org.
