profile for all users

When creating PDF-files all users can choose from the following profiles:

• low quality
• average quality
• good quality
• best quality

I would like to add a new profile which all users can use, for example "concept".

Do I need to take this action on every computer of the user?

Or is it possible to add the new profile only once under the rights as administrator and then all users can see the new profile?

You can provide profiles for all users in the HKLM registry path. Simply copy a profile from

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PDFPrint\Profiles\fo

to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\PDFPrint\Profiles\fo

to make it available for all users.

Hi Stefan, stumbled on this answer but seems to me it doesn't work (anymore)

In my case the OS is Server2019STD

- ..\PDFPrint\.. is in my registry ..\PDF24\.. and ..\WOW6432Node\PDFPrint\Profiles\fo.. or in my case ..\WOW6432Node\PDF24\Profiles\fo.. does not exist.

Can you clarity this for me, please!

If you have create a profile for one user, you can find it here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PDF24\Profiles\fo\XXXX

You can then export and import it to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\PDF24\Profiles\fo\XXXX

This makes it available to all users.
