Remove pictures from OCR created PDF

Hello,

I've created PDF file from several images by using PDF24 OCR tool. Then when I tried the tool "Extract pictures from PDF" there were still some pictures eventhough the pages from that pictures were perfectly converted to text (I can select and copy it to clipboard).

Also source images (22 png files) has 5.4 MB but final PDF has 9.4 MB (OCR creates 22 PDF files each for one picture then merged into single PDF).

1, When you use OCR to convert picture to PDF, why the picture remains in PDF file? I'd like to throw it away.

2, When you convert pictures to PDF by OCR recognition, should not be final file smaller than source pictures?
