I have checked the settings. when using the GUI or the Command line for DOC tool, I always get a subfolder the documents are stored in when split from a single PDF to multiple. How can I stop this? I remove the subfolder command form the command line and it stills happens. no option not to use on the GUI using the doc tool interface.

    Hello,

at the moment the subfolder cannot be switched off:

    • Command line: pdf24-DocTool.exe -splitByPage always writes the single pages into a new folder named after the output file. -outputDir only sets where this folder is created. There is no option to write the pages directly into the output directory.
    • PDF24 Toolbox, Split PDF: if you save all parts with Save, they are put into a subfolder named after the PDF. You can save single parts without a subfolder with the save icon (Save file) next to each file, but that is only practical for a few pages.

Thank you for the suggestion, we will add it to our list: an option to save all parts directly into the chosen folder.

The command line options are described in the manual: https://creator.pdf24.org/manual/11/#1117-split-pdf-files-after-each-page

Splitting is also available online: https://tools.pdf24.org/en/split-pdf
