    UPDATE:

    The changelog appears to indicate that since v2.5, the user can disable automatic update. Is this correct?

    A user suggested PDF24 as a viable Adobe Reader alternative, so I'm giving it a geekover by reading the support forum. Can someone give the current status of the autoupdate feature? Can it be disabled by the user?
