Hi - mighty impressed with PDF24 (we have 8.9.1). The only thing we would like changed is that we have to accept the default save path in the "PDF Printer" AutoSave output directory when "Automatically save documents after printed" is used and a document is printed to PDF. Is there a way to get PDF24 to ask the user which save path they want instead of only saving to the default path?
Thanks!
Malc
In that case, it would be possible for a naive user to select an incorrect option (and someone eventually WILL!) and cause all sorts of problems. I'd rather not give non-technical users any more options than a single-celled organism can cope with. Can I ask for the facility to ask for the auto-save path at savetime as a feature request please?
Thanks!
Thanks for the prompt reply, Stefan. I would agree, but we are deploying the software in a test instrument setup and providing it to customers who are not necessarily technical. The "assistant" screen provides a confusing array of options when all they will need to do is save a document either to their local drive or to a USB stick..
I would say that then it is better not to use the automatic save feature. You can go through the assistant and there you just have to click the save as PDF tile in the UI. This one click is the only difference then.
