I downloaded and installed the latest version on your website. I'm running Windows 7. When I try to print from any application like Outlook or Word, I can see the PDF24 printer is "Ready". But when I submit the job to print, I get an Error Printing message in the Printers and Devices queue, and the job never prints. I did not create an online account when I went through the wizard while installing. I don't know if that has something to do with this error.
Currently, due to Windows updates, it may not be possible to print on the PDF printer. The problem has been investigated and an improvement has been implemented.
Solution: Please install the current PDF24 Creator 9.2.0 to solve the problem.
hello, try the follwing:
- uninstall the pdf24 creator
- restart your computer
- install the pdf24 creator
- ensure, that all print jobs are removed from the print queue
An online acco8unt is not required. The only reason why print jobs stay in the printer queue is that the PDF24 Windows service is not running. Did you stop the service or does the service reports errors?
Seems like this solution works sometimes. I have the curious situation that the update worked on my laptop, but not on my desktop for some reason. There it still states: "Error when printing with PDF24. The printer cannot print". Unfortunately I am not sure how to get you more information or feedback.
