Is there a way to change default background color from white to gray or a dark mode?

I would like to know if there is a way to change the default white PDF background color to something like a gray or dark mode, maybe this could be linked to the Windows Dark mode feature, similar to Chrome and outlook, or have its own function to change the color pallet when opening PDF documents. This would help the bright visualization of many bright white PDF and backgrounds and lessen the strain on one's eyes that has to look at PDF's often. Thank you.

Dark mode is currently not supported. This is still on our TODO and we are a bit behind our plans. The problem is that we are waiting for a new version of a third-party component with which we can then use dark mode. As soon an the new version is there we will start adding dark mode.
