I want to save a pdf file encrypted with password. I tried creating a custom output profile named "testtemp" where I enabled security and set a default encryption password. By using the command "pdf24-DocTool.exe -applyprofile -profile user/testtemp -outputfile c:\temp\ff-x1.pdf ff-1.pdf" I am able to save the pdf file with the output profile. However I want to set the encryption password also using command line by adding the -profileparam setting. However, I don't know the key value pairs to be used for this. Can someone help?
The keys for the passwords are as follows: pdf-userPass and pdf-ownerPass
pdf-userPass is the passwords the user has to enter at the moment when the user opens the pdf.
pdf-ownerPass is the owner password which is used to encrypt the pdf. An owner password als always required, the user password is optional.
Profiles are stored in the Windows registry. So if you already have a user profile, then you can see every profile key and value here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\PDF24\Profiles\fo\XXXX
