Hi, Is it possible to create an index to a multi page PDF and have a link, such as a hyperlink, from the index to a page, then another link back from the page to the index? Thanks.
Hello, can you explain it in a bit more detail? At the moment I don't know what exactly you mean.
To Explain further. I have a multi page PDF with song lyrics, each song is one page. I have used PDF sam to create it and it also automatically creates an index to each song (each page) at the front of the document. Clicking on any song on the index page will take me straight to that song. However I need a way to quickly get back the song page to the Index page at the front of the document. I have been told that a bookmark might work but I don't know how to do this. Can you help please?
Are you looking for the PDF Merge tool which you can find here?
https://tools.pdf24.org/en/merge-pdf
There you can use the option to to create bookmarks based on file names.
Hi Stefan, thank you for your answer. I tried the merge tool as you suggested and I can see the created bookmarks thank you. What I don't understand is how to link them to an index or table of contents. I have an Index already which takes me to any page but what I would like is to do it in reverse, to go from the song page to the index page. How can I do that?
Yes, I'd like to see this too. I suppose it could be done manually, but how?
