Version 7 does not work with software that was able to print to version 6

CDK Kprint software does not print to version 7 , the print does go to the pdf24 print spooler but then it "error" and has to be deleted to get any printing done to the pdf24 printer.

    Please help

Is the pdf24.exe running? Check your task manager and look for the pdf24.exe task. If you can't find that task, start the creator which also starts the pdf24.exe. The pdf24.exe is responsible for consuming the print jobs, to redirect them to the user and to open a handler application.

All version 7 versions even 7.3.0 install correctly , printing to it from a application called "CDK Print Manager" that still works fine with version 6.9.2 it prints to the spooler and the status says "Error - printing" . Have to delete it from there to get to print to pdf24 again.

I've still got no joy with version seven(7) (7.40 included) of the program. I'm now going to find a solution at one of the other pdf printing software as they are working with my software setup that did function a long time with your software in the version six(6) range.

Thanks and goodbye. Do not expect me to promote you.

    Regards.

Seems too me that the pdf24.exe is not running. This process is required in order to handle the print jobs. If you stop that service, the windows print spooler will show an error.

If only this was the problem. The service is running but the errors only happen when printing from "Print Manager Administrator" by CDK. All other is working fine and it is working on older 6.9.2 pdf24.

    Hi Guys

the last version working with my Kprint software was 7.7.0 from then up and to 7.9.0 it only creates error in the "See what's printing" tab and stops all other printing to the "PDF24 PDF" printer.

Can someone look at what has changed in the printer driver for 7.7.0 to 7.9.0 please.

And what is not working. What is the problem? You can send screenshots to forum@pdf24.org. Is version 7.8.0 working?
