Very good. Will be part of the next setup.
pdf24MemberCurrently not. We work on that.
pdf24MemberThe note about the ordering is is now on TODO.
Normally PDF24 refreshes automatically if a new folder is created. I wonder why this is not done. Anyway, i#ll put this also on TODO.
pdf24MemberHm, I don't know why...
pdf24MemberThanks for the file.
pdf24MemberI've downloaded your created setup and your logo is inserted correctly.
I've installed your version, opened a file and printed it on the PDF24 PDF printer. Then the assistant opens and there is your image ("Orbit Uganda").The size of the image must be 200 x 330 px and not 200 x 300 px.
If the image is in 200 x 330 px then you don't need to crop the image. The cropping step will be skipped in that case.pdf24MemberInformations and a download link of the MSI Setup are located at http://en.pdf24.org/blog/pdf24-creator-msi-setup/
pdf24MemberWell, this was a bug during last improvements. Is fixed now. Can be used like before but with better PDF output in some circumstances.
pdf24MemberNormally A4 is the default paper size. Applications can choose the paper size which this printer provides. This can be the postscript format too.
Maybe there is an option in your application where you can choose the default paper size.
pdf24MemberDo you have an example where can I see it?
If you have, please send a link to forum@pdf24.orgpdf24MemberI've put this point on TODO list.
pdf24MemberHi, scripting is not supported by PDF24.
You can print to the PDF printer programmatically. If the editor is open all files are loaded into it.
THen manually click on merge button and save the final file.pdf24MemberWell you can do this:
Open the editor.
Run your simulation which prints on PDF printer.
All files are loaded into the editor.
If you have all files or if the simulation is finished manually click on the merge button. This combines all files to one.
Then you can save the final PDF.You can do this with hundreds of documents.
pdf24MemberIn my opinion a portable version is not possible. The PDF24 needs the PDF printer which must be installed. Currently I don't know how to handle this.
pdf24MemberIt seems to me that the PDF24 Printer can't be set to the default printer. Maybe the printer could not be find which is one cause of that. You can set the PDF24 printer as the default printer which should temporarily solve you problem.
Please go to the Printer section in system control of windows and open the printer properties of the PDF24 printer and send me screen shots to forum@pdf24.org so that I can analyse your problem.
pdf24MemberCan you send me a link to the article or can you send me the content of the article so that I can test that? Please send it to forum@pdf24.org. Thank you.
pdf24MemberCan you give me some more information about that? What is the informations plugin and for what do you use it?
pdf24MemberIs now on TODO list. Will inserted into the next version.
pdf24MemberI have written you a private message to test a nightly build version. Please let me know if this version works.
pdf24MemberIs this a default profile which is selected by default?
pdf24MemberThere must be an error why the printer can not be installed. The only chance you have is to install the printer manually.
go to controll panel - printer - add printer
add local printer
use existing port and in the list select \\.\pipe\pdfprintDownload the driver from
http://de.pdf24.org/products/pdf-creator/download/pdf24_printer_driver.zipunpack the zip archive
locate to the unpacked folder in driver install dialogThat should work
pdf24MemberCurrently not. We work on that.
Currently we don't know what is the best solutiuon. We can install an second printer which saves the file directly without user interaction or we can use the current printer and configure the printer to save files directly.
What would you prefer?
pdf24MemberHi,
editing the ppd files should work, but only editing the ppd is not a good idea. Normally the ppd must be edited before installing and not after installation.
Please send me an email to forum@pdf24.org, then I will send you an install script which contains a ppd file which can be edited and then installed.
What operation system do you use?
pdf24MemberWe have planned to add such a feature in one of the next versions but we could not realize it until now. This feature is still on TODO.
pdf24MemberI think not.
pdf24MemberNo, currently there is no way.
pdf24MemberCurrently that is not possible. I don't know a way how this can be realized.
pdf24MemberHmm that's hard to be realized. I think that this can't be added to one of the next versions.
pdf24MemberThanks for the more detailed text I'll think about that and hope that I can integrate that feature in a future version.
pdf24MemberPlease search the web for CSS styles. There are a lot information about that.
