2) Currently you can configure in settings of our PDF Creator which handler will be opened if no handler is open. If an handler is open and can be used to handle a document, then this handler is used. The assistant is a single handler and can't be used twice. The editor is a multi handler and can be used for more than one document. If the editor is open, every prints will be redirected to editor and the editor loads the prints in the collection list where you can edit the file or merge the files.
Maybe i will provide a setting in future to configure whether to redirect to an open handler or not. I'll put it on TODO.Hi, thank you!
In assistant there a button which opens a preview and which opens the default PDF Viewer. The first button open the default PDF viewer registered in windows.
In editor the is no possibility to open the default PDF viewer, because in editor you can freely create a PDF from other ones by dragging and dropping pages. Therefore we can't open a default viewer, we need a special one which can display current page set of a document.

there are some plugin option in wordpress admin area. See Settings->PDF24 Plugin
There you can configure the plugin. If you want to have a box with an email address then choose an style which provides that.
The pdf24 WordPress PDF Plugin has two modes creating PDF files. The first is the Download as PDF and the second the Email Created PDF. You can choose which variant do you want by choosing a particular style in settings.

currently we are working on a new version of the plugin. The new version will provide some more options, also a option for some styles to customize the PDF output.
The background system has been changed the last days. The PDF outputs should be much better than the output a few days ago.
The new plugin will be available tomorrow.
We don't have much experience with published apps.
The PDF24 Creator have to be installed on a local machine. Then the local user have a PDF printer.
This printer can be shared in a citrix environment. e. g. you can install a user printer into an erp application so that the user can print out of the application to his local pdf printer to create PDF files.
The pdf printer on each user account can be shared between any user in the envoronment.
It can only be printed to a machine where the pdf printer is installed. You have to distribute the app to clients.
Do you know the reason why the setup hangs? Can you give me some more information about that?
I'll check the plugin with wordpress 3.0.1.
The next weeks we will provide a new wordpress plugin with some more features, because we have enhanced the background system. THen we have to touch it anyway.
In the next version there is no requirement to send the created pdf files to an email address. It can be configured that the created pdf files are sent to the browser so that the user can download the file directly.
The resulting PDF file will be better than the files which are created currently.
THe new things will be provided the next 2 weeks.
Hi making the plugin only available to registered users are a good idea and relatively easy to realize. We will provide it with the next update of the plugin. This will be provided the next 4 weeks.

currently this can't be achieved with our current tools/plugins, but we currently working on a new background system and some new plugins which will provide this functionality.
In the near future we will provide a PDF Formular Mailer which can transform a filled out HTML formular to PDF. This created PDF can be send to an email address or can be downloaded directly.
The development process will still take 4 weeks, then the new things should be available.
Thats truely bad. I currently don't know what the problem is. Can you test this with command line argument /verysilent removed? Then xou can see what happens and what is displayed tu the user. Maybe there some kind of error message. I would like to know when the setup stops and what happens in your case.
We are developing a new version of the plugin and the large background system. The new plugin will have the feature that you do not have to enter a email address. The created PDF is send to the browser so that the user have to download it.
This is provided as alternative which can be configured. Fortherfore the resulting PDF will be a little bit better than the PDF files which are created currently.

i can give you the message that we will extend our conversion system so that we can offer the feature to download the created.
The development is in process and i think it will take 2 weeks until the background service is complete.
After the background service is ready we will extend our plugins so that users of the plugin can choose one of the two ways,
1. send attached to an email or
2. direct download.I think everything will be complete within 4 weeks.

thats not possible with pdf24. The pdf24 editor can't edit the content of a pdf page but the editor can extract, insert, move pages, change document properties and so on.

you have to set an owner password to encrypt the pdf. Without an owner password the encryption feature can't do his work.
The owner password is not a password to open a pdf file, it's just a password for the encryption method.
There is another password, the user password, which have to be entered to open the pdf file.
Everything is back to normal. We had a problem in our mail server. The problem is solved and PDF files can be sent.
I have tested that with my pdf documents. I don't have the problem.

i have tested the setup creation just this minute. Everything works fine. I have tested with the online variant of the design creator and with the pdf24-personalizer. Both works fine and create the setup.

Oh thanks for that info. The download link was broken. We have released version 2.8.2 of PDF24 Creator and we have forgotten to correct the old links. THe download link should work now.

currently you can do it as follows:
1. Install PDF24 Creator
2. Open the PDF24 Editor
3. Print out the email on PDF24 printer
4. Print out the attachment on PDF24 printer
5. Click the merge button in PDF24 Editor

We will integrate this language file into the next setup.
Thats specific to a email program. PDF24 only opens an special interface to the standard email program in windows.
Must email programs accept entering email addresse comma separated. Or use the CC or BCC fields if your program privides them.
The new version 2.3.5 of pdf24 wordpress plugin should now work with WP e-commerce plugin.

currently that't not possible, but it's a nice feature for the future. I'll put it on TODO but i can't say when we'll include it.
This problem should be resolved in the latest version. If anybody get the same message using our latest PDF Creator please write a short info here.
Yes i can see the problem. The encoding isn't correct and that leads to that the article is schown twice. I'll develop a new pdf24 plugin version that will correct the problem. I'll do it today and the new wordpress pdf plugin will be available tomorrow.
