Hard to say, did you recognize the space, thats wrong here? % UserName% should be %USERNAME%
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterThe Auto Save configuration gives you the %XX% placeholders that you can use for that purpose. To get the user name, use %USERNAME%. This will be replaced with the name of the users that printed. Use this in the output folder text field.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterYou could definitively use the applyProfile for that. Create a new profile for JPG with the settings you want. Then use the pdf24-doctool.exe on the command line and use the applyProfile there. ALso use the outputfile argument to write the result to disk. This should work.
Call the doctool without arguments to get the command line info window. There you can find all arguments you need.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterIf you use our offline software (PDF24 Creator), then all files are process locally.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterYou could use the PDF24 Creator, oben the file and resave und disable the preserve annotations option in the save as dialog.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterYou can disable PDF24 here via the settings. Open the settings and open the shell extension page there. Then uncheck the boxes.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterIt's working again.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterEnsure that you have internet connection. The OCR tool loads language files on demand because all these files are so large that it makes no sense so deliver all files within the installer. Ensure that internet connection is available and then the language box should show all available ones.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterOpen the file in the PDF24 Creator, load your file into the app and right-click a page. There you have to options to add a blank page before or after the clicked one.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterFiles received and will be checked as soon as possible.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterPlease send test files to forum@pdf24.org so that we can test with your files. Then we can investigate the problem and find a solution relatively quickly.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterUse the pdf24-docTool.exe. Run the tool on the command line without arguments to open the command line help. The use the -join handler of the docTool to merge files.
The PDF24 Creator is our offline solution and all work is done locally on your computer. This is, in contrast to our online PDF joiner tool, sometimes better for some users, because some users do not like to send file through the internet.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterHello, the new Creator no longer has the embedded file explorer at all. We have removed this component because it's a bit limited compared to the windows explorer. The Creator of the next version only has the right part of the older GUI, just to merge, remove, move, delete, .. pages. There are now some more tools to import files to the creator that makes working quicker. As the file explorer is removed now, there is now no option to add your feature request.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterNewer PDF24 versions also have a file context menu and you have to click the context menu entry PDF24. The the file tools user interface pops up and there you also have an option for converting.
2019-05-03 at 13:21 in reply to: Keep the first document's file name when merging multiple prints #6019Stefan ZieglerKeymasterWe ave such a feature configurable in the current built of the software and the next version brings that feature. The next version will be released in a few days.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterHmm really? The installer normally uninstalls completely. Try to do a restart. Maybe there is a process, that blocks the removal of some files. A restart should help in such cases.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterWhat do you mean by that?
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterThe PDF24 Creator has the paper and overlay option as seperate pages in the options tree of the save as dialog. Choose paper to underlay, and overlay to overlay.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterTry to use our online tool that you can find here:
https://tools.pdf24.org/en/webpage-to-pdfThis often gives better results.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterHi, you can't join signed documents. This invalidates the signatures. You really can not do that, because think about that. It would mean, that the signed document would have been changed afterwards and that should not be, because this document is now not that, what was signed before.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterChange the settings in the Save As dialog and uncheck the preserve annotations option.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterUse this command:
pdf24-docTool.exe -shellPrint -printerName "PRINTER_NAME" "$FILE"
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterHmm, I've tested this again a couple of minutes ago, but I could not reproduce this issue. What version of the pdf24 creator do you use and what version of the reader? You could also try an other reader to ensure, that this is not a problem of the reader.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterThe path
HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\PDFPrint\Profiles\fois for x64 machines and the path for x86 ones isHKLM\SOFTWARE\PDFPrint\Profiles\fo. Windows does some mapping here.Stefan ZieglerKeymastercheck the download folder of your browser. The file should be there.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterThe password to open the PDF is optional. Just just do the security settings changes and create your secured PDF. Then the relevant options should not be useable in PDF readers.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterThe number of pages is not relevant for our tool. Did you get an error that could help me to tell you what the problem was?
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterWhen saving, you could use an output profile with a lower quality. In the Save As dialog you can reduce the DPI option and the JPEG quality.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterNormally changing the location to the new one and saving the profile again is all what you need to do. What version of the software do you use?
For debug, you could also open the creator, load a file and then save it and in the save dialog, you can set a paper file and continue saving. This should combine the paper file and if that works, this should also work via a pdf printer.
Stefan ZieglerKeymasterHmm, hard to say, did you try to restart your PC?
