Does the preview work? If so then there is maybe a problem with your default PDF viewer.

Defaul settings after install can be set by importing a set of registry keys and values.
Program settings an user settings are separated.

Reducing the popup is not possible, but we think about other clients, which can be registered to handle created files.

Is that behavior with all documents? If not, please sent us your document to forum@pdf24.org so that we can check that.

Has everyone else such a problem?

    Hi,

yes, PDF24 looses the links. Links will be lost in future too.

As an alrternative you can use our online pdf converter at http://en.pdf24.org/doc2pdf

    This converter keeps the links.

No, you don't have to do anything special. just doubleclick the setup file to execute it.
I also have windows 7 x64 and it works fine on my pc. Is there everyone else who have this problem?

Not a valid win32 application can mean that the setup file is damaged. Try to clear your browser cache and download again.

    Try the following:

    - Print the document into a PDF
    - In assistant click on Save as ...
    - Set the option Auto rotate pages to None

Then save the document. Hope this solves your problem.

Is there an error? You have to change the email address in sample code. If you do not you will not get the created PDF.

The PDF24 isn't designed to work with Windows ME. The PDF creator needs components from windows which are only available in windows xp and later.

    1) Image ALignment
Try to add css to style the pdf document. In plugin settings you can add css, which our converter uses to format the output.

    2) Inserting Logo
That's a nice feature, curently that's not possible, but we can realize that. I'll put this on TODO and add this feature in the next version.

    3) Converting on Own Server
Currently that not possible. We use a special background system which handles thousands of documents per day.
Extracting the core part to install this on your server is possible, but we don't have a solution for that, we would have to develop that.

I'll build the setup with the latest files again and than post a link to that file.

What you also can do is to skip the printer driver installation process and to install a printer driver manually. Search our forum for an intoduction if you want to do that.

We also have a setup which installs an alternative printer driver from local windows driver store. This setup installs the pdf24 creator without displaying the Logo test message. The problem is that this PDF printer driver is not so powerful and has some limitations.

    We'll overthink that again!

    Hi,

this will not demage your system. Our PDF24 Creator install a printer driver which is save. We install this driver in Windows Vista aand WIndows 7 too and there isn't the Microsoft Logo Message.
The reason is that drivers has to pass Windows Logo test program from Microsoft. The driver need to be signed. This is very expensive (the costs are annually) and currently we don't want to pay for that.

    Hi,

we had decided to replace the old PDF printer driver with a new one, which is more powerful. The disadvantage of this decision is that users on Windows XP systems has to ignore the Windows Logo message.
The Logo Message appears because our new pdf driver is not tested and signed by microsoft which cost a lot of money and we don't want to pay for that.
There is an alternative on Windows XP Systems which was build in in older version of PDF24 Creator, but the old solution is less powerful.
Maybe we will build a setup which contains the old and the new driver installation variants so thaat the user can choose one option. I'll think about that.

User who use Windows Vista and Windows 7 as operation systems do not have any problems. On this systems the logo test message don't appear. Microsoft has changed some parts of his systems so that our printer driver is out of the core part and does not need a driver test. Currently we use the same driver vor all windows systems.

What you can do is to install the pdf24 creator and skip the printer driver installation part. Then install a postscript printer driver manually. There is a introduction in our pages on pdf24.org. You can find it by using google.

Link conversion works currently only in online tools. The PDF printer of PDF24 doesn't support links of documents. If a document is printed on pdf24 printer then the information of links will be lost.

There are some possibilities to submit this information. We are work on that to add this feature in future versions.

    1) There is no PDF template

    2) You can use other css definitions too, e.g. if you use a class .myClass in you blog, you can configure this class in plugins settings and our converter uses this style to format your content. Test it.

We create a html file first, this file can be styled through css, you can use the all css defs you need. Then the comverter converts this HTML-FIle to a pdf file.

In settings of the plugin (WordPress admin area) you can add css for your document. Is in section Document Options. Click on Customize Options and there is a CSS Style input field where you can paste your needed css style.
