Hi,
please send the file which do not work to forum@pdf24.org. Then i can look at the file to test it and maybe to fix bugs if there are ones.
Please send me a short introduction too so that i can reproduce the problem.
All my test documents, large ones too, passes my tests. Therefore i need your document.

Thanks.pdf24MemberPlease try to download the latest version of our software. Please clear your browser cache first to ensure not downloading a incorrect cached version. Use an other browser if you don't want to delete your cache.
Hope this helps. I can't explain why you get this behavior. I have a same test environment and it works fine on my pc.

pdf24MemberOk, this could be because our PDF converter has not every special language installed. We support many languages, but not all. I think that we can't comply with your desire in the near future.

pdf24MemberPlease click the edit button in assistant to edit die PDF in PDF24 Editor. The show button only opens the PDF in default PDF Viewer registered in your system.
pdf24MemberPlease install Adobe Reader or an other PDF Reader to view PDF files. That should solve your problem.

there are two ways to do that.
In Assistant click Save as.., choose PDF output format and there are security settings where you can enter passwords.
In Editor right click on a document name and choose properties. The security settings are located here.

The recreation of a PDF via PDF printer creates a working pdf file which the pdf24 can always read.

pdf24MemberDoes the preview work? If so then there is maybe a problem with your default PDF viewer.
pdf24MemberDefaul settings after install can be set by importing a set of registry keys and values.
Program settings an user settings are separated.Reducing the popup is not possible, but we think about other clients, which can be registered to handle created files.
