The settings dialog does the following to install new PDF printers:

This is BT-29. According to the standard, there is no schemeId attribute here. So, you habe to use <ram:GlobalID schemeID="0002"> instead because only GlobalID has the schemeID attribute. You can add multiple globals Ids if this is required.
Try to install he 9.x version under WINE. I have heard that this works for some users. 11.x version uses Webview2 and this seems to be problematic under WINE.
The default open mode can be configured in the settings on the pdf reader page.

The next version of PDF24 Creator will also receive these updates, but only when the new version is released in about two weeks.
There is an issue with the electronic signature feature in the current version. I have analyzed it today and I have found the reason for this. A fix is implemented and the next version make it possible again to add working electronic signatures. The next version will be released in about 2-3 weeks.
BT30 is present in the generated XML file.

Many companies have switched entirely or partially to PDF24 because it is free, has a lot of features, gets updates and new features continuously and has a long track record. You won't find an official list of companies that use PDF24. We don't maintain such a list, nor do we intend to boast about it. This sounds strange, are there any more clues or a pattern as to when exactly this happens? Actually it is not a good advice to configure the default PDF printer named PDF24 for automatic saving. It's better to add a new custom PDF printer which you can configure for automatic saving. Does it fix the problem?

Please report any further issues. The tool is quite new. We've added a few things in the last few days that some users brought to our attention. Nevertheless, the current version is quite usable and will help many people.
This is not currently possible. There is currently only this one template.
Some PDF24 tools can handle HEIC files directly. If this is not possible, you can convert HEIC files to JPG files and then use the converted files. The linked converter is a PDF24 online tool and is also free and usable without registration. So, if you can't use HEIC files directly, convert them to JPG and then use the JPG files. That should work in most cases.
Fonts should be installed in Windows. PDF24 reads installed fonts and provides them in the selection box.
I think the /page switch is currently only used for printing.
Version 11.29.0 should actually fix your issue. Have you tried this version?
We have added new options to the command line, -langFile and -langCode. You can use these switches in order to change the language.

I think think what you are looking for:
- Configure a PDF printer to save files automatically.
- Configure a command that is executed after the PDF file is printed.
- Store the XML file anywhere
- Print on the PDF printer, use a unique print job name so you can select the right XML file.
- After printed, the command is executed. In that command, you can use the print job name, find the XML file, then call pdf24-Toolbox.exe -createInvoice.... to make an e-invoice and store the result.
The PDF printer itself is not able to create e-invoices, the printer data does not have all the information required to create an e-invocie..

Did you use the PDF24 Toolbox in the PDF24 Creator? The toolbox should ask you where to save the result. If you have used the online tools, then there is the download button. When you click the download button the result is downloaded to you downloads folder. If you have used the PDF24 Creator and you do not get a save file prompt, then please send a test file and screenshots to forum@pdf24.org so that we can check that.
In the offline Version, open the Toolbox, merge the files and then continue with the bookmarks editor tool of the toolbox.
Is our PDF Bookmarks Editor an option here? With it you can edit existing and add new bookmarks very easily.
