In which environment do you run the program?
    Which windows version?

I think there is something wrong with the environment of the program.

Do anyone else have this problem?

The security setting pages are now in Save As dialog.
    Every property is there now.

Click save as, choose output format and make your settings there. Then click save.

It could be that printing is prevented by the protected PDF document. If that is the case you will get this blank page with the error message. In that case you don't have a chance to edit/change the PDF. An unencrypted PDF is needed.
Extracting pages in some version of PDF24 Creator was possible but that was a bug. Normally we don't support protected PDF files.

Encrypted PDF files are not supported. A bug in previous versions had disabled a security check so that encrypted PDF could be loaded by the editor but in most case there will be some internal problem so that we decided to disable that feature.

What you can do is the following: Print the PDF file on PDF24 printer. THis creates a new PDF files which is not encrypted. Then extract your pages.

The font is microsoft font. You have to license the font if you want to use the font outside windows for non private use.
    That a problem for us.

Unicode is supported, but it can be that we don't have a font installed which contains Georgian characters. I've installed a package.. hope this works now.

The user only must have read access to the program folder. Nothing is written into this folder. If the user have no read access or if the user don't see the program folder it might not work.
I think it's some kind of permission problem.

    Hi,

0x00000005 seems to be the error: ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED
When a user logs in the background process pdf24.exe is started. This small process is needed for each user so that users can print on PDF24 printer. The process receives a printjob, manages the redirection of the printjob und opens the right application in user space.

Is there a limitation in opening some system pipes or any other restrictions?

No, there is no tutorial but the code should be readable by a programmer which than can change it. You need only to modify the right part.

Normally this should not happen. Are you really sure, that no instance is running? You said that you have uninstalled die program. The uninstaller removes any files that have been installed by the program. There can't be any files that are running. There must be something wrong with your system.

Try uninstalling the program and than do a restart.

Normally larger papers are supported. It depends in the installed printer. If you had older version of the software installed try the following:

    1. Manually delete the PDF24 printer.
    2. Reinstall the PDF24 Creator.

This ensures that the printer driver is installed which supports files larger than A3.

In printer settings you can see the maximum and minimum paper sizes..

In this case you have to modify the plugin. The plugin collects the articles of a topic. In this step modify the created html code and append the images.

Which software you use to print to PDF or which files you convert to PDF?
e.g. Word files. Please also tell me the version of your software.

We noticed that Word 2003 can produce errors and Word 2010 works fine. Can you submit me your file which causes the problem? This helps me to find a solution. You can send files to forum@pdf24.org.

    Thanks.

Hi, please use the qualitity/Profile selector in assistant or editor.

In assistant there is a selector directly in main windows. In Editor open the context menu of a file by right clicking on document name and then set the quality profile.

    That should work.

    Hmm ok,
these files become installed when printer driver is installed. These files are part of windows and dependent when installing some kinds of printer drivers.

I'll look at the parts, but it can be that windows decides not to remove these files. I'll check that.
